The SpaceMouse Compact was developed to deliver an intuitive, effortless and precise 3D navigation in CAD applications that cannot be experienced by using a standard mouse and keyboard. It is the ideal tool for modern engineers, architects and designers and the very reason we adopted it to drive the efficiency level forward in our OnSight™ and EasyEarthworks™ system.
Immersive Navigation
The patented 6-Degrees-of-Freedom (6DoF) sensor is specifically designed to manipulate digital content or camera positions in leading CAD type applications. Simply push, pull, twist or tilt the controller cap to intuitively pan, zoom and rotate your measurement and 3D canvas for enhanced levels of performance and ease of use. Your other hand is now free to simultaneously use your standard mouse to select, create, edit or measure your project drawings.
Compact Footprint
With its iconic, pure design SpaceMouse Compact is small enough to fit on every desk while the brushed steel base ensures the device stability for precise 3D navigation.
Easy to Use
Each of our software primary canvas movement tasks can be allocated to any of the SpaceMouse primary controls. The supporting code is already standard as part of our out-of-the-box software installation, so it's a simple case of plugging the SpaceMouse in and away you go. With two side buttons, plus the tactile push/pull, twist, lift and depress capabilities of the joystick the option of what function to dedicate to each movement or button is down to the individual.
Single Driver - Multiple Devices
There's even a hardware upgrade path that shares the same driver, so if you wish to progress to a more capable unit further along your development path (with even more buttons), you don't have to replace the software driver - simply plug-in the new hardware and assign the chosen task in the driver window. Easy.
